By taking a human rights focus and building on an evidence-based approach, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) focuses on increasing a person’s quality of life and decreasing the frequency and severity of their behaviour of concern.

We Care Support Services provides specialist therapies and supports for children with developmental delay or disability, recognising the importance of early intervention in building a child’s functional capacity.
Our team are experienced in early childhood early intervention, where a transdisciplinary team work together to improve the capacity of a child and their family. This means a team of therapists, for example a physiotherapist, occupational therapy and psychologist work together to support a child and their family.

We can assist people with disability to develop their social skills, form meaningful relationships and actively participate in the community.
We Care Support Services can assess and make recommendations for home modifications for people with disability and their families, including funding applications or work with public housing authorities.
Our therapists can assess sensory processing patterns in children and adults, and how these may impact on everyday living activities. They can advise on how the sensory environment can be modified to enable the person to better cope; or on ways to assist the person to respond more effectively to sensory input.
We prescribe, source funding and assist with the purchase of aids and equipment for people with disability and their families. This includes communication technology, home and vehicle modifications and assistive equipment.
We can complete funding applications for suitable assistive technology, home and vehicle modifications.
We Care Support Services speech pathologists can support you to overcome communication barriers and specialise in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
We can complete funding applications for AAC devices to the Electronic Communication Devices Scheme (ECDS) or to the NDIS.
