We care support services resource ‘A Piece of Cake?’ explores inclusion, with a particular focus on how it translates into everyday practice with children and families in early learning settings.
The resource uses the concepts and terminology in ‘Belonging, Being and Becoming – the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia’ (DEEWR 2009) (the ELF) and the ‘Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework’ (DEECD 2009) (VEYLDF). These two key documents inform the work of educators in early learning centres across Victoria.
